In the second quarter of 2025, the top music and podcast applications on the Android platform in France showed varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at these apps and their trends.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $169K in early April and peaking at around $222K by the end of June. Downloads hovered around 26K to 28K, with a slight dip to 24K in the final week. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 6.3M throughout the quarter.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player experienced an upward trend in revenue, climbing from $322K to $461K by the end of June. Downloads varied between 17K and 24K, while active users consistently stayed above 4.4M, indicating steady engagement.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts maintained a stable download rate, ranging from 15K to 20K. Active users showed a slight increase, reaching over 3.3M by the end of the quarter.

The Radio France: radios, podcast app had a decrease in downloads over the quarter, starting at 22K and dropping to 17K. Active users also saw a decline, moving from 1.3M to approximately 1.2M by June.

Lastly, Radio France - Live Radio FM showed consistent download numbers around 8K to 10K. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $213 in the last week of June. Active users decreased from 304K to about 230K.
